This program is the largest congregate dining setting for seniors or for those with disabilities in Rhode Island. The Blackstone Café provides balanced and nutritional meals to disabled adults and seniors in a community dining setting. There are 17 Blackstone Health Café dining locations across the state of Rhode Island where meals can be enjoyed or picked up.
As COVID-19 restrictions apply, these sites are currently not allowing dine-in meals to enjoy meals but will be again allowing them as state guidelines evolve.
Participation in the dining program is available to individuals who are at least 60 years of age and their spouse, as well as a person with a disability under 60 years of age.
To make a reservation at a café in your community, please call (401) 728-5480.
Hours of operation vary by dining location. Boxed meals can be picked up at these sites or volunteers will deliver to clients.
