Kathleen Peirce, RN, BSN, MS

President, Executive Director, and Chief Nursing Officer

Kathy Peirce, RN, BSN, MS, has been a registered nurse for more than 30 years. Her experience includes acute care and 20 years of Home Health and Hospice care. Kathy joined the VNA of Care New England in 2014 after working for Hartford HealthCare and Masonicare Home Health and Hospice in Connecticut, serving as Chief Operating Officer. She is a graduate of Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH, and Rensselaer at Hartford, in Hartford, CT, where she earned a Master of Science in Management. Kathy has served on a number of community boards and committees. Currently, she is serving as a board director on the Visiting Nurse Association of America (VNAA) board and the Rhode Island Partnership for Home Care (RIPHC) Board. Additionally, Kathy is representing the RIPHC on the Medicare Board of Advisors and as their Education Chair as well as the chair of the Board Clinical committee for VNAA. Kathy is originally from Rhode Island.

Kathleen Topor, BS, MA

Vice President of Finance

Kathy Topor, BS, MA, has more than 30 years of multifaceted and progressive experience with tax, treasury, budgeting and analysis, accounting and controllership. Kathy joined the VNA of Care New England in 2007 as Chief Financial Officer after working in the finance department of The Jean Couto Group (PJC) USA Inc. for 16 years. As she progressed in positions of responsibility, the drug store operating company grew from annual revenues of $12 million to $10 billion. Kathy is a graduate of Western New England College in Springfield, MA, and Johnson and Wales University, in Providence, RI, where she earned a Master of Science/Accounting with a concentration in taxation. In addition to her responsibilities at the VNA, Kathy provides tax support services for the Care New England Health System.
