Warwick, Rhode Island……VNA of Care New England employs over 200 individuals including nurses, physical, occupational and speech therapists, social workers, chaplains, home health aides, management and office support staff.Each plays a vital role to ensure that the highest quality home health and hospice care is delivered to patients and their families throughout Rhode Island.Employees reaching milestones in their service to the organization were recently recognized at VNA of Care New England's 102nd Annual Meeting held at the CrownePlaza in Warwick, RI.
Those employees celebrating one year of service are Michele Anderson, Debra Barrett, Cynthia Bielecki, Robert Brown, Susan Derderian, Elizabeth Diaz, Justine Glaude, Mary Greenlund, Kathleen Hill, Lynn Horne, Susan Lemay, George Mantaian, April McDonald, Carolyn McDonough, Patricia Medeiros, Teresa Proulx, Sharon Rattie, Jeanine Santos and Joan Segerson.
Employees who reached the five-year milestone are Alfred Arcand, MD, Norma Cacal, Betty Dereniuk, Renee Gobeille, Veronica Gongol, Janis Hellested, Margaret Jones, Jennifer Lee, Emily Lyons, Kathleen Olsson, Kristen Parenteau, and Kimberly Sepe.
Maria Ettinger, Linda Feeley, Sheryl Licker and Gloria Mancuso were recognized for five years of service to the Flu Crew.
Susan Andler, Elizabeth Fronce, Deanne Gentile, Carol Grant, Wanda Kennedy, Karen Lemke and Jean Lowe celebrated 10 years.
Joan Lomastro reached her 15-year milestone, and two employees reached 20 years; Anne McDermott and Janet Reynolds.There were two employees recognized for the longest tenure at 25 years; Georgia DeGeorge and Janine Roch.
Dorothy Zawadzki celebrated her retirement from VNA of Care New England after 31 years of providing nursing services to thousands of patients and Janet Albies, after 30 years of dedicated quality support work at both KentHospital and VNA of Care New England also retired.
