Gifts of Gratitude
VNA of Care New England is a not-for-profit organization that relies on donations, gifts and bequests from the community to provide needed services in patients' homes. Every dollar we receive goes directly to benefit patient care.
Toward helping those who have experienced the loss of a loved one, Hospice Care at the VNA of Care New England offers a Grief Support Group. The next six-session series will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursdays from March 23 through April 27 at the Pilgrim Senior Center, 27 Pilgrim Parkway, Warwick. Sessions are facilitated by Hospice Chaplain The Rev. Paula Toland and Hospice Bereavement Coordinator Kiel Mitchell.
At VNA of Care New England, we understand that many patients and families struggle with the decision about when to start hospice care. It is time for hospice care when a cure for an illness is not likely and your goal becomes comfort and support. Our hospice care emphasizes your quality of life and the relief of pain, whether it is physical, emotional or spiritual.
