Health Tip: Taming Acne

Don't expect medication to work immediately
(HealthDay News) -- Many teens battle acne every day, and the American Academy of Pediatrics offers advice on what to do and what to expect:
Be patient and remember that acne medication can take a while before you start to see an improvement. Follow your doctor's treatment regimen regularly and consistently. Don't use additional treatments, skin care products or medications than your doctor recommends. They can make the problem worse. Don't scrub skin too vigorously.
