Treatments for Narcolepsy

The treatment and management of narcolepsy involves lifestyle changes and medications.
The goals of treatment include:
  • Improving daytime alertness
  • Minimizing or eliminating troublesome symptoms such as weakness, hallucinations at the beginning or end of sleep, and sleep paralysis
